I had to go into the vault for this one. My first introduction to Les Rythmes Digitales was by way of his remix of Beck’s “Mixed Bizzness”… way back in 1999. I might still have it on 12″ somewhere. Really, this remix is just a hint of where Jacques lu Cont would end up taking us.

Yeah, that Les Rhytmes Digitales remix is incredible. It give Beck’s pervy funk a nice Ladytron-like feel. Thanks for posting!

Hehe. I, too, have been noticing LRD has been receiving a fair bit of shine lately. Wall of Sound also re-released his classic “Darkdancer” album with a special bonus disc full of mixes just a few months ago (I recommend checking it out, it’s definitely quality). Right now I’m in love with Stuart (and it’s evident in my screenname), so anything you provide by him I’ll download. Thanks for feautring him.

Stuart Price has come along way since he was first introduced to electronic music at a young age. This album throws you back to the 80’s (Good if you missed it) and seduces you into simple sounding music which has been produced to a high standard. He has worked his way through different styles over the years and has been for ever progressing along with the wonders of technology. He has had two albums, both different, which have had gradual success throughout the years and aid due to comercial endorsement. He is also the brains behinf Madonna’s latest album (Confessions…) whichs sees her music returning to la dance floor and is once again touring with her as Musical director. He has a lightning personality which grabs you and as a result, has aided his success in the music industry. I havent seen many other artists who have a similar style but there are many unsigned potentials out there and one can be found at MySpace UK known as Jacques Deux who appears to have a similar style and is only 17.
