Tender Forever

Blogs work. Proof? I first read/heard Tender Forever on You Ain’t No Picasso. I then bought the album at my local, indie record shop and 1, 2, 3… I am a new, instant fan.

Tender Forever is a one-woman band in the same vein as Tracy + The Plastics or The Blow. Melanie Valera has created some down tempo D.I.Y. electro-folk that is as sensitive as it is delicate. Tender Forever is a deserving name. Valera has created music that is like a combination of fine lace and folk art. It feel as though it could fall apart at any moment but it is so tough and ready.
