Hawnay Troof

What the fuck. How did I miss the Hawnay Troof ep that came out late last year? 20 Jazz Funk Greats even wrote about it last month, and I totally missed that too.

Not only does Community have the hottest – the hottest – album cover ever, but it is just such a perfect little ep. From start to finish — West Coast gutter rap is so hot right now. Vice Cooler is back with a couple friends, and his sound is a little bit more developed. Look for a full length album sometime this year.

Every track on this record is worth owning. The Björk cover isn’t the best track, but you all probably know the original version so…
