U.K. rock act People In Planes just wrapped up a video shoot with director Joaquin Phoenix at Ontario Airport in California. “If You Talk Too Much (My Head Will Explode)” is the first single off of their debut album, As Far As The Eye Can See, due in stores March 28th. Look for the video towards the end of the month.

Surprising enough though, People In Planes seems to have more in common with American progressive rock than what you would expect from a band coming out of the UK these days. It’s actually a nice change of pace. PiP is still raw and cutting edge but it’s a definite more structured, tame sound. It’s good, just not any of that dance punk that the UK and the rest of the world (and bigstereo) is all fancy for these days.
