Ok. Sure in six months time you’ll have totally forgotten about this band, and they’ll be collecting dust next to your Electric Six and The Darkness albums. But for now, NYC’s Morningwood is it. Their debut, major label album drops today, January 10th, and there’s little reason not to buy it. Blogs have been blogging them and priming the hype machine for quite a while now, and it seems like they might have all the pieces laid out for a nice hit. There’s just something totally catchy and undeniable about their single “Nth Degree” that’ll have even your mom dancing around the living room. Enjoy them while they’re hot. Hate them. Love them. Whatever. Same thing. Bang, bang, bang. Much love, their album is just too damn good.

    I'm not really a fan of indie type music, but after listening to this song I had to replay it. Now I'm hooked on it. It's very good. I especially like the male background vocal that sounds like the singer from The Darkness…where he sings, "Everybody let's go!"
