Exciting News that I can’t get enough of. Jarvis Cocker wrote songs for the upcoming Harry Potter flick “The Goblet of Fire”. Apparently he worked with Phil Selway and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead fame, naming their band “THE WEIRD SISTERS”. They will also appear in the film as such. The band originally cast as The Weird Sisters was Franz Ferdinand, but apparently they couldn’t make it due to touring. Jarvis Cocker is very interested in making a full album with the name.
In Pulp news, Jarvis Cocker says it is not done.

    I know it's a bit late, but I thought I'd point out that the band was already named 'The Weird Sisters' in the Harry Potter books…
