Not to hate, but. Madonna’s Confessions On A Dance Floor is my biggest pop music disappointment of the year. I had such high hopes with all the Giorgio Moroder comparisons her marketing crew have been putting out there. Lame.

Kylie Minogue did it so much better with Fever.

I’m sad to report that Jacques Lu Cont has never sound so tired. Before you get all defensive with me, I was a huge Les Rythmes Digitales fan in 1999ish. And still a fan of the occasional remix. So it hurts to say that.

Oh well. At least the “Hung Up” video is hot. So fucking hot. Even though she has totally gentrified yet another sub-culture.

    I'm still waiting for the CD… but that's dissapointing.

    Hung Up is a decent video, but somehow, the workout room thing seems like a ripoff of Eric Prydz's "Call on Me" video.

    I think that the "washed up" tag is overly bitchy.

    I think Madonna was probably being a bossy bitch during the production process, because Jacques Lu Cont couldn't possibly make something this fucking boring on his own. (His effort on Juliet's album earlier this year was pretty fantastic.)

    Do any of the other songs match up to Hung Up? Coz I really love that tune! I'm really disapointed now, but I'll get the CD anyway!

    umm you stole this from me. but anyway, i hated it at first, its growing on me though. i mean its definately not fantastic, never will be. its a lot better than horrible though…i am learning that slowly.

    "Confessions On A Dancefloor" is really disappointing. With all that was said, everybody was thinking that COAD would be the best Madonna's album. But, we were wrong. That's boring. Really boring. Kylie was so much better with "Fever", absolutelly.
