Tiefschwarz + Matty Safer + Cass & Mangan

German electro duo Tiefschwarz’s latest single “Warning Siren” is easily one of my favorite songs off of their album ‘Eat Books.’ Featuring Matty Safer of The Rapture, it is just rad. But in all it’s greatness, it doesn’t sound like a typical Tiefschwarz song… or what we’ve come to expect from Tiefschwarz. That’s where Cass & Mangan step in – cutting up Safer’s vocals and adding an acid bass line. In Cass & Mangan’s hands, “Warning Siren” goes from sounding Rapture-esque to sounding Tiefschwarz-esque. Just like that.

The single also features ace remixes by Buick Project and Anthony Rother.
