Clor

Clor is fucking amazing me lately. I have been intensely listening to this album nonstop for like a month now. I just can’t get enough of it. I think it might be because it reminds me of everything i have ever thought was good. It reminds me of driving around in my ’85 VW Jetta in high school. I would rock out at 6.30 in the morning driving to school, being 17 and stuck in traffic on the freeway in San Diego is not fun unless you have a nice stereo system and, to be honest, a bowl of weed. It reminds me of blasting the likes of Gary Numan, The Sea and Cake, and even newer than that Figurine, and Trans AM. I thought of all of this driving up along highway 1 in California, my trip was from San Diego to San Francisco (I am finally home!). Around Big Sur, you know the dizzy spiral area of the 1, I put on this album and it was pure bliss. The record is full of genius lyrics and pop anthems. The indie, rock n’ roll combined with synth-electro goodness is enough to make me swing my hips and call in sick to work to start a dance party.
Clor currently toured with Tom Vek and hopefully they will tour the states, let’s cross our fingers!
