I don’t know if You & the Atom Bomb purposely chose their name based on the essay with the same title by George Orwell. Perhaps it’s some political/1984/tongue in cheek/clever reference. Or perhaps it’s just a coincidence.

I don’t know because really there is like no info on this band.

This is what I do know:

a) Their website provides little info. And no pictures.

b) They’re on Sink and Stove Records in the UK.

c) They sound like a polished Ssion or Hott Beat.

d) Y&AB have a well written press release that covers all bases:

e) I really really really like their sound. Like really. I am happy that I have a copy of their record.
