heads up
posted by TravisI haven’t yet made my way around the Blogosphere today. So I apologize ahead of time if you’ve read this a billion times already.
- US readers take note. Tiefschwarz has the free “Discovery Download” on iTunes today. I know most of our readers have already “discovered” Tiefschwarz but hey…
Download: Tiefschwarz featuring Matty Safer – “Warning Siren”
(iTunes)
- Warner Music Group is “creating a new music-distribution mechanism” called an e-label opposed to traditional cds or albums. “Artists will release music in clusters of three songs every few months rather than a CD every few years”.
Good news: less filler. Bad news: non-stop marketing.
- This one is a little more confusing. A total 180: “Playlouder MSP, launching at the end of September, will let its customers share Sony licensed music with others on its network.” Finally a major record label is actually listening to their customers instead of suing them.
- Al Cabino & the Chocolate Factory (?)
