If you were to lock M. Ward, Mirwais and Diplo into a studio for four years, they would come out with an album sounding and feeling something like Boozoo Bajou’s Dust My Broom. Dust My Broom (quite obviously a reference to the Elmore James album of the same title) is Boozoo Bajou’s sophmore album and first release since 2001’s Satta! Like Satta!, Boozoo Bajou have created another sexy, sensual and exotic album. The textures of Dust My Broom are so rich… you will feel like you are stepping straight out of the club and into the bayou. They have created the (downtempo) juke joint for the 21st century.
