So you might of forgotten of these guys, you might of not. I have been waiting for both bands to release a new album for what it seems like years. Well I got my hands on both albums and they are both spectacular.

First of all the new The Dandy Warhols is fucking good! Just plain and simple, good! It’s called ‘Odditorium or Warlords of Mars’ It’s a lot like Monkey House, I feel it has even gone back an album and become more traditional and dirty. The first time you hear this album it just sticks to you, and instantly becomes a new favorite. It makes you feel like you’ve owned and overplayed that album for years. Check out ‘Down Like Disco’ to see what I’m talking about. The album doesn’t even have cover art yet and is supposed to be released on the 13th of September. Check out their website too, its trippy and requires 3-D glasses.

Next off is the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club its titled ‘Howl’ and has a release date of August 23rd. The album is incredibly different to the last two albums. It is way more relaxed and mature. Of course I miss the Rock ‘N’ Roll aspect of their music in fact that is what drove me to listen to them. I have always loved their rock feel, and even on their last album they had the dance feel. Well this album has none of that, dont put on yr full black leather outfit. You should try to remember the days when you used to listen to The Verve instead. This new album screams Richard Ashcroft or maybe even a little White Stripes. It is full of soul and blues. Yet if you try to forget about the last two albums ‘Howl’ just melts yr heart away. The soulful vocals make you grab yr heart and shake yr head. For the most feel of their last album check out the song ‘Shuffle Your Feet’, for a more blues feel grab ‘Devil’s Waitin’ ‘
