blue orchid video

I’m sure everybody has seen this already. And I am the last to know. Typical! But:

blue orchid

New video for The White Stripes “Blue Orchid.”

The White Stripes have left Michel Gondry’s side, and “Blue Orchid” is directed by Floria Sigismondi (Marilyn Manson’s “Beautiful People,” Christina Aguilera’s “Fighter”).

It’s so creepy. And good. I really wasn’t too crazy about this song… but this brings it to the next level for me.

  1. its a great video, im loving it. i heard another song of their new album though and it is terrible.

  2. didn’t they record it in like 3 days or something? that either goes really well or really poor. we’ll see. you can stream the entire album but i’m waiting until it comes out.. prefer to hear cd sound than crappy internet streaming.

i’ve read a lot of reviews saying it’s their best yet… but that’s probably just typical pre-release hype… blah!

also read a lot of people hating this video… don’t like sigismondi. she uses the same imagery over and over… so what. it’s creepy. and works with the song. they couldn’t use gondry again… new album, newish sound, new look.

how funny is meg white in this video?

  3. i think the blue orchid video is amazing, i wish i could live in tht house!
