This is a band that you should definately know. The Bush Tetras are an amazing band with super hot rough girl vocals. They have a post-punk, funk, dark rock sound. They had members of James Chance and the Contortions and The Clash, and have been thrown in with the whole New York No Wave movement (check out N.Y. NoWave for more info). They had one hit called ‘Too Many Creeps’ but were way overlooked and not heard of enough. This is great stuff to listen to cleaning up yr house, having a house party, or just plain rocking out. If you like The Breeders, Fugazi, Two Ton Boa give them a listen.
