Ok Cowboy 05

If you walked into any club in 2001-02 you were sure to hear Vitalic’s La Rock 01. It seemed like every DJ played this track…
Almost four years and a handful of singles later, Vitalic has finally released his first full length. Boy was it worth the wait. Honestly, I was worried this album would sound… dated. But it doesn’t and stands on its own. La Rock seems as fresh in 2005 as it did in 2001.. and the rest of the album is not there as fluff but rather supports the singles and pushes both the album and music forward.
Be sure to check out the music video for My Friend Dario… a robot, dancing girls in bikinis and football helmets, headbangers and one hot chick with a robot voice. How can you go wrong?

yeah i had the same thought.
i like that it’s all almost so bad. like it could almost all be really bad club techno. but it’s just all so weird and quirky and well produced that it just never goes there.
